Mitt Romney is stepping up his support for Orrin Hatch's re-election bid with a new television ad.
Politico highlights the ad (below) that urges Utah Republicans to attend their caucus meetings to support Hatch.
"This is Mitt Romney. We need strong leadership in Congress to fix the economy and we can count on Sen. Orrin Hatch in the fight to lower taxes, to balance the budget and to repeal the federal government takeover of health care," Romney says in the commercial. "On March 15, please attend your caucuses to keep Orrin fighting for Utah."
Romney has previously recorded radio ads for Hatch. While it's way too early to say whether Romney will have coattails for Republicans, in general, next fall, Utah is a state where his political brand is already golden.
