Legislative Ethics Forum at Hinckley Institute

Legislative ethics will be the topic of a forum Nov. 3, 9:10 a.m., at the Hinckley Institute of Politics, 253 Orson Spencer Hall at the U. of U.
Two legislators and two proponents of a citizens' initiative creating an independent ethics commission will discuss the pros and cons of the initiative. LaVarr Webb, publisher of UPD and a partner in the Exoro Group, will moderate the discussion.
Participants will include:
- Kim Burningham, Chair, Utahns for Ethical Government, and former Republican state legislator
- Rep. Lorie Fowlke (R), District 59
- Sen. Lyle Hillyard (R), District 25
- David Irvine, attorney for Utahns for Ethical Government, and former Republican state legislator
Video of the forum will be published on UtahPolicy.com, and will also be carried on KUER radio.
