All Elections Matter

In a culture that rebelled for its worship of legislative representation, the American phenomena of dismissing municipal elections are astounding. City council representatives oversee the construction of our roads, our running water, our police, and our neighborhoods, yet, their election consistently garners the lowest voter turnout for any tier of basic election.
