Chaffetz Move Could Provide Ammo for 2010 Election Ads

Rep. Jason Chaffetz was able to insert an amendment into the House’s Homeland Security appropriations bill that prohibited the use of full-body image scans as “primary” screening tools at airports.  That amendment died in the Senate, but it could turn into a headache for the 310 House members who voted in favor of it.
