Utah Policy profiles college interns in the D.C. offices

Utahn Karl Rove, former strategist and adviser to President George W. Bush, famously got his start in politics with a Washington internship through the University of Utah's Hinckley Institute of Politics, then dropped out of college once he got a job here in town.

While most D.C. interns complete college, or have already graduated by the time they make it to the capital, they all hope that their internship will similarly serve as a springboard into their future career, be it political, legal, or otherwise. Now at the start of the fall semester, Utah Policy has profiled one intern in the D.C. office of each member of the state's Congressional delegation, asking them each:

1. What motivated you to seek an internship in DC?

2. What are you looking forward to in Congress?
