More On the GOP’s "Woman Problem"

Last week we noted an article by The Daily Beast that said the GOP's domination by conservatives, evangelicals and Southerners prevented the party from grooming a new generation of women leaders.

Now, Politico takes note of how the growing schism between the party's right wing and moderates has gender issue undertones. The ouster of moderate Republican Dede Scozzafava in New York's 23rd district raises real questions about whether the party can recruit electable women candidates.
