Put Limits on Campaign Contributions?

One of the big issues facing the Governor's Commission on Strengthening Utah's Democracy is whether limits should be placed on campaign contributions in Utah political races, and whether corporations should be banned from making campaign contributions.

Utah is one of the few states that does not limit who can contribute and how much can be given. Personally, I think placing restrictions on campaign contributions creates a lot of bureaucracy and regulation, but doesn't improve elections. Limits also favor incumbents and wealthy people who can finance their own campaigns.
