Pyrah: 'The odds? Worse than 1-in-550,000'

Daily Herald reporter Joe Pyrah says of his Friday story profiling Utah County residents with legislative influence: "At one point I realized I didn't have anyone I'd consider liberal/progressive. So I started calling around to people from that side of the aisle. No kidding, my own research plus four in-the-know Democrats from here and around the state couldn't come up with someone I would consider a real legislative influence from Utah County. I know the county is conservative. But how is this degree of conservativeness even cosmically possible?"
