Utah Tied for Lowest Voter Turnout

"Nearly 67 percent of Washington state voters participated in the 2008 presidential election, which was better than the national average of 63.6 percent but behind U.S. leader Minnesota, which recorded a 75 percent turnout percentage. According to data released Monday by the U.S. Census Bureau, Hawaii and Utah were the states with the lowest voter turnout percentage, with about 52 percent each."
