How will the Trump administration impact Utah businesses? No one knows exactly what will happen to the economy when Trump begins governing. But some Utah experts are willing to make some informed speculation.
A thought leader symposium focused on what might happen with tax policy, international business, energy and healthcare in the next four years will be held Dec. 14, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., at Zions Bank, One South Main, Suite 1800.
Check-in and breakfast begins at 8 a.m. Panelists will include the following:
- Derek B. Miller, President & CEO, World Trade Center Utah, will discuss international trade.
- Natalie Gochnour, Director, Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute, will talk about general economic impacts.
- Robert Spendlove, Economic and Public Policy Officer, Zions Bank, will discuss impacts on business.
- Dr. Laura Nelson, Executive Director, Governor’s Office of Energy Development, will discuss energy development under Trump.
- A representative from Leavitt Partners will talk about healthcare reform.
