Envision Utah invites tech community to discuss future of industry

Envision Utah proudly invites Utah’s community leaders to attend its Spring breakfast event on May 16 at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City for a discussion of Utah’s future.

The event’s panel features Carine Clark (Silicon Slopes), Karl Sun (Lucid Software), Josh Coates (Instructure), and Howard Hochhauser (Ancestry), who will discuss what the tech industry needs to continue thriving in Utah.

The industry’s recent success in accelerating needed transportation infrastructure is one example of the tech sector’s growing influence in Utah, but what partnerships will the industry need next?

Work being done to study the future of the Point of the Mountain area and Utah’s economy is illuminating the critical importance of supporting the rapid growth of Utah’s innovation cluster. The Spring Breakfast is an opportunity to discuss with state and community leaders what the high-tech industry needs to continue to boom. Envision Utah is a nationally renowned nonprofit that brings people together to solve some of Utah’s most pressing growth challenges. Learn more at http://www.envisionutah.org.
