World Trade Center Utah and Nu Skin are hosting an International Business Forum in Utah County on May 15 from noon to 2 p.m. to highlight the importance of international business to Utah’s economy and educate more than 250 business, community and education leaders about the benefits of exporting.
Derek B. Miller, president and CEO of WTC Utah, will provide keynote remarks on how to navigate an ever-changing international marketplace. The forum will include a panel of export experts and valuable networking opportunities with trade-related service providers. Val Hale, executive director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) will emcee the event and Provo City Mayor John Curtis will provide opening remarks.
The event will also include presentation of the Champion for International Business Award and the Vanguard in International Business Award. These awards recognize companies and individuals who are strengthening Utah’s economy and creating jobs through international expansion.
