Utah Republican Party Hires New Executive Director

The Utah Republican Party began the 2014 election cycle by hiring Julian Babbitt as its new Executive Director. Babbitt will be replacing Jeff Peterson who will work in the private sector before entering law school this fall.”

“Julian will be a valuable asset to our party as we enter the 2014 election cycle. He has vast campaign and organizational experience which will help ensure our success,” said Utah Republican Party Chairman James Evans.

“The Utah Republican Party is in an excellent position to make additional gains this year and I am honored to work alongside an incredible team in that effort. I look forward to joining with Republicans throughout the state in strengthening our party,” said Babbitt.

Babbitt has worked with Republican organizations throughout the country and most recently with Senator Hatch’s reelection campaign.
