On Saturday, March 28, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Real Women Run is holding a day of education for women planning to run for political office this spring and for those working on their campaigns.

This free training takes place at the Hinckley Institute of Politics on the University of Utah campus. Registration is required and available at www.realwomenrun.org or www.ywca.com.

The hands-on training will feature keynote speaker Sheryl Allen, former Representative for the 19th District of the Utah House of Representatives.

Following the keynote address, four workshops will focus on media and messaging; campaign and field organization; fundraising; and research and demographics.

  • Media and Messaging will be facilitated by Lindsay Zizumbo
  • Campaign and Field Organization will be led by Sophia DiCaro and Jenny Wilson
  • Fundraising will be held during lunch and feature Kendalyn Harris, Liv Olafsson Moffat, and Jen Lambert
  • Research and Demographics will be presented by Marcia White, Diedre Henderson, and Patrice Arent
