Ouch! A new survey shows Congress is less popular than zombies, cockroaches and dog poop, but more popular than serial killers.
That’s the finding from Public Policy Polling, who found Congress has an 8% approval rating. They also asked respondents to pick between Congress and other items. The results:
- Cockroaches are more popular than Congress (44/42%)
- Dog poop is more popular than Congress (47/40%)
- Toenail fungus is more popular than Congress (44/41%)
- Congress is more popular than Charles Manson (56/18%)
- Congress is more popular than Miley Cyrus (46/31%)
The poll also found that Congress is less popular than Wall Street, public radio fund drives and zombies.
