Utah home prices jumped nearly 12% over the past year according to data from the Utah Department of Workforce Services.
The analysis shows the Utah housing market is rebounding nicely from the recession, posting the 7th consecutive quarter of home price appreciation. The jump in values was the 7th highest in the U.S.
However, Utah hasn’t fully recovered from the recession as home prices are still 10% lower than their peak in 2007.
