- Gov. Gary Herbert cruised past former Lt. Gov. Greg Bell 75-25%.
- House Speaker Greg Hughes defeated Senate Majority Whip Stuart Adams 72-28%.
- Former Utah GOP Chair Thomas Wright upset LDS Church lobbyist Marty Stephens 65-35%
