Sen. Mike Lee was one of three members of the Senate to earn a perfect score from the American Conservative Union’s annual ranking of members of Congress.
Lee, along with Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn, were named “Defenders of Liberty” by the organization for earning 100% on their scorecard.
Sen. Orrin Hatch scored a 75% from the group, which is down from his 92% rating last year.
On the House side, Rep. Jason Chaffetz was the highest scoring member of Utah’s delegation at 84%. Both Reps. Rob Bishop and Chris Stewart scored 80%.
Not surprisingly, retiring Rep. Jim Matheson was given a 58% rating.
