Now that he’s not returning for another term in Congress, Rep. Jim Matheson is returning political donations to the tune of more than $130,000.
According to Political Money Line, Matheson has returned $131,000 in donations from political action committees. His FEC reports also show individual contribution refunds of $17,381.
Matheson reported total contributions of just under $1 million in the first quarter of this year, most of those coming from PAC’s.
Matheson ended the quarter with $515,233 cash on hand after beginning the quarter with just over $16,000.
