Matheson Voted Against His Party Most During the Last Congress

Rep. Jim Matheson has often frustrated Democrats because of his penchant for voting against his own party. Turns out, he's done that more than any other member of Congress during the current session.

National Journal notes that Matheson took 202 votes against his party during the current Congress – which turns out to be about 40% of the time. Like Matheson, most of the other people who voted against their own party the most are vulnerable to lose their seat at the ballot box.

Sen. Orrin Hatch makes the top-25 of Senators who voted against their party, coming in at #24. He voted against the GOP 22 times during the current Congress.
