Two Members of Utah’s Congressional Delegation Have a Negative Net Worth

Utah's members of Congress are not among the richest in Washington, but two members from Utah have more debts than assets.

Roll Call broke down the net worth of every member of Congress. Among Utah's members, Sen. Orrin Hatch is tops with a net worth of $1.92 million, but that's still only the 126th wealthiest member of Congress.

Rep. Jim Matheson has a net worth of just under $1 million, followed by Rep. Jason Chaffetz ($0.48 million) and Sen. Mike Lee ($0.11 million).

On the other side of things, Reps. Rob Bishop and Chris Stewart have a negative net worth. Bishop has a negative net worth of $-0.03 million. Stewart's net worth is calculated to be $-0.46 million.
