Legislative Panel Rejects Herbert’s Healthy Utah Plan

In a surprising move Thursday morning, the Legislature's Health Reform Task Force did not recommend Gov. Gary Herbert's Healthy Utah alternative to Medicaid expansion.

The panel instead chose two other options to send to lawmakers for the 2015 session. 

Incoming House Majority leader JIm Dunnigan (R-Taylorsville) called the Affordable Care Act a "convoluted scheme" that's being forced on Utah.
