Former Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney is on a fundraising tear right now, pulling in money for Republican candidates across the country, including Senator Bob Bennett

The Hill reports that Romney will hold a fundraiser for Bennett in Boston on October 26.

Romney will also assist one of his early backers in the presidential contest, Sen. Bob Bennett (R-Utah). Bennett's reelection is in jeopardy thanks to the Beehive State's convention system, and several more conservative candidates are considering running against the three-term Republican.

Some speculating the fundraising blitz is a prelude to another run at the White House in 2012.  If he does decide to run again, he has most of his team from 2008 still in place.  However, some strategists think Romney has yet to understand what went wrong during the failed bid in 2008.

"I like Romney," said one strategist from the 2008 campaign who has yet to sign up with a 2012 contender. "But a lot depends on what changes he makes to his team, and changes are absolutely necessary."
