Even though more registered voters say they’d vote for a Democrat over a Republican, the number of GOP voters who say they are very enthusiastic about voting is much higher than Democrats.
The Pew Research Center poll says 58% of Republican voters are very enthusiastic about voting, while only 42% of Democratic voters say they’re enthusiastic about voting.
The same survey shows widespread anti-incumbent sentiment as we get closer to the 2010 midterms.
Only half of registered voters would like to see their own representative re-elected next year, while 34% say most members of Congress should get another term.
