In a press release issued Wednesday, Sen. Orrin Hatch praises the House for voting to repeal Obamacare and urges the Senate to follow suit, arguing that the healthcare law "infringes on people's liberty, expands government to record levels, and raises taxes on hard-working Americans."
"House Republicans have listened to the American people by acting to repeal this law. The question is whether the White House and its allies in the Senate will follow suit and support similar legislation that responds to the will of the people.
"I not only support a full repeal, but also a targeted approach that takes down the pillars holding up ObamaCare. I've introduced legislation taking aim at the unconstitutional individual mandate and the job-killing employer mandate. I'm confident that my legislation will garner increased bipartisan support this Congress."
