The final night of the Illinois legislative session ended with two lawmakers throwing hands at each other during floor debate.
The Chicago Sun Times says lawmakers were debating a plan to raise electricity rates when opponents brought up campaign contributions to Democrats from the utility and the role of a former state lawmaker who is now a lobbyist. That lobbyist just happens to be the father of one of the lawmakers involved in the altercation.
