Pat Buchannan says, if Mitt Romney wins the Republican nomination, it could lead to a revolt from the GOP base.

Newsmax says Buchannan is warning against the nomination of Romney becaue he does not have "true conservative, anti-big government values." If Romney does win, Buchannan thinks the Tea Party may form a third party.

“It’s a real possibility because the tea party folks and the Republican conservatives and social conservatives and others are very apprehensive of Mitt Romney and they don’t feel he is really one of us,” Buchanan told Newsmax.

“They’ve got reason for that feeling and that sentiment but if they do that, if, for example … they persuaded Ron Paul to run on a third party ticket, Barack Obama would be easily re-elected,” he added.

Buchannan goes on to say that America's changing demographics, wherin Whites will become a minority by 2050, will make it nearly impossible for conservative Republican candidates to win elections in the future.
