Surprisingly, West Valley City Mayor Mike Winder has a small lead over Richard Snelgrove among Salt Lake County Republicans in the race for County Mayor.
A UtahPolicy.com survey finds that Winder pulls 23% support among Salt Lake County Republicans, while Snelgrove gets 20%. 48% are undecided at this early stage of the race. Mark Crockett and Gary Ott get 5 and 4% respectively.
The survey was conducted among 1,291 Salt Lake County republicans who participated in the 2008 and 2010 caucus meetings.
