Multiple former advisers to Jon Huntsman's presidential campaign say they're unnerved by the former Utah governor's failure to pay off his campaign debts, including the five- and six-figure sums he owes to a number of consultants.

Reports Politico:

It’s not unusual for campaigns to carry debt after they close their doors. But what’s alarming to Huntsman’s creditors is the lack of a serious debt-retirement plan or a timetable for paying outstanding bills. The apparent mismanagement of the campaign’s wind-down could be harmful to Huntsman’s future political ambitions.

“I’m concerned that, as an outstanding vendor owed money from the presidential campaign, we have received no written or oral correspondence to any effect, mapping out or detailing any sort of payment plan or projections,” said former Huntsman national finance consultant Jim McCray.
