Mitt Romney may visit Utah before June’s primary election to campaign for Orrin Hatch.
Dave Hansen, Hatch’s campaign manager, tells Utah Policy that inviting Romney to
“We haven’t made that request yet,” said Hansen, “but there’s a very good chance we will.”
Romney recorded TV and radio ads for Hatch prior to the state convention, and Hatch was one of Romney’s earliest supporters in his bid for the GOP nomination.
Romney visiting Utah ahead of the primary makes sense as the state has been fertile fundraising ground for him in the past.
