Reports The Hill:
Last week, Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) said she and other Democrats were willing to use the sequestration cuts, which take effect in January, as a bargaining chip to get Republican to allow some of the Bush tax rates to expire on the top 2 percent of income earners.
“It is a political equivalent of a temper tantrum,” Hatch said. “American voters will have about as much patience for this as they would a similar fit from their children.”
