Ouch! A Democratic PAC launches an ad smacking Mia Love for raising taxes in Saratoga Springs.

The House Majority PAC is blanketing Utah's airwaves with the ad, titled "Resume" this week.

"Mia Love is running for Congress. Before you send her there, read her resume. On the Saratoga Springs council, Love voted to raise property taxes three times, up 116% in one year and allowed spending to nearly double. And, as Mayor, Love took a 30% pay raise. If you like how she raised taxes in Utah, you'll love Mia Love in Congress."

This is a perfect example of how those supporting Matheson will distort the truth to try and keep the Obama supporting congressman in office. Yes, Mia Love did vote to increase property tax, but why? Because Saratoga Springs was an agricultural town that only had needs for emergency services. Once it transformed to a residential city the needs of the residents changed dramatically. Parks, schools, recreation facilities, and all of the other core services one would expect from a city needed to be implemented. That is why the residents of Saratoga Springs give her a high approval rating and are supporting her run for congress. Way to try and mislead voters in an attempt to win back the house majority.
