The General Assembly of the World Trade Centers Association was held in Moscow last month and WTC Utah president Lew Cramer was elected to the international board of directors. The WTCA is the governing body who oversees the World Trade Center brand including locations in New York City, Shanghai, Sao Paulo and Utah.
The WTCA will begin benefiting from Cramer’s expertise and experience starting immediately and his term on the board will last four years. The role is part time and Cramer will retain his position as WTC Utah president and CEO.
This new role will allow WTC Utah to strengthen its already great relationships with World Trade Centers around the world. Cramer’s position on the board will also provide an opportunity for the world to learn more about Utah and its successful business environment. “Being elected to the governing international board of the World Trade Association is a much appreciated honor,” Cramer said, “but it is even more a recognition of the progress that WTC Utah is making in its mission to connect Utah companies to global markets. As one of over 320 WTCs around the world, Utah now is increasingly becoming known as an outstanding international destination.”
