Utah Department of Government Operations’ Executive Director, Marvin Dodge, has announced that David Dyches will be the new Deputy Executive Director for the Department. David will be joining the Executive Director’s Office team on January 8, 2024.
David has a bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Utah and brings a background in Human Resource Management at all levels including years of consulting with many businesses and industries.
Marvin stated, “I am excited to work with David again in this new role. I have such tremendous respect for David and his leadership experience, insights, and wisdom.”
David previously served in the role of Deputy Executive Director of Southern Utah University Aviation. For the past seven years, David utilized his organizational skills and business insights to fully integrate the aviation program into mainstream university practices, while helping to grow the program from about 100 students to 1,000. Over these years he aided in complex acquisitions and the establishment of core business functions and practices.
The Department of Government Operation looks forward to the impact David will have at the Department as he applies his 30+ years of experience and leadership in the organization.
