Utah’s First Lady to host 4th annual Show Up Summer Service Fair at Thanksgiving Point

Utah First Lady Abby Cox invites families and individuals of all ages to attend the 4th annual Show Up Summer Service Fair, a free, family-friendly event designed to connect Utahns with meaningful volunteer opportunities across the state. The event will take place on Monday, June 9, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Electric Park at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi.

Over 60 nonprofit organizations will be on-site offering hands-on service projects, volunteer sign-ups, and information on how to get involved throughout the summer. The fair will also feature food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, jugglers, chalk art, a live DJ, and prize giveaways—including chances to win throughout the summer by sharing your service story.

“Through Show Up, we encourage Utahns everywhere to reach out wherever they are and however they can to Show Up with empathy and understanding,” said First Lady Abby Cox. “Let’s create a state where service is at the forefront of our values.”

Event Highlights:

  • 60+ Nonprofit Booths with service opportunities for all ages
  • Live Entertainment including a DJ, jugglers, and chalk artists
  • Interactive Family Activities like bounce houses and face painting
  • Free Giveaways and Prize Drawings — including a summer-long service story challenge
  • Food Trucks and Community Connections

Each attendee will receive a punch card at check-in to track their engagement with the nonprofit booths. After visiting 10 or more, participants can enter to win exciting prizes. Those who go a step further by volunteering and sharing their experience on social media with #ShowUpForService will be entered to win larger giveaways announced throughout the summer.
