James Evans, Chairman of the Utah Republican Party, issued the following statement after the FBI recommended no criminal charges in the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server during her time as Secretary of State:
The statement by FBI Director James B. Comey on the Investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal e-mail system contradicts Hillary’s account. I believe the American people will rightly conclude that if it were anyone else other than Hillary the FBI would have recommended prosecution.
Over the years Hillary has carried herself as being above the law – and the FBI’s decision today underscores this point, even though there were clear findings that Hillary broke the law. There is no question that today it was officially determined Hillary broke the law and that she was dishonest regarding this matter.
