  1. The FBI decided they would not bring charges against Hillary Clinton or her aides in the use of a private email server while she was Secretary of State, although FBI Director James Comey said Clinton was “extremely careless” with her handling of classified material [Politico].

  2. Congressional Republicans say they may hold hearings, including grilling FBI Director James Comey, in the wake of no charges in the email investigation [Politico, The Hill]. Donald Trump accused Clinton of offering a “bribe” to Attorney General Loretta Lynch to avoid criminal prosecution [Washington Post].
