The National Right to Life Committee has endorsed Congressman Rob Bishop in his re-election and has commended him for maintaining a 100% pro-life voting record in the 114th Congress.
The NRLC praised Bishop for his consistent support of pro-life legislation, including his support of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act.
Bishop voted repeatedly to block federal funding of abortions at Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. He has also voted to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, commonly referred to as “Obamacare,” which provides for taxpayer funded federal subsidies for insurance plans that cover abortion.
The NRLC stated, “All voters who are concerned with the right to life and with the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family should vote to return [Congressman Rob Bishop] to Congress, so that [he] can continue to work to advance vital pro-life policies.”
Bishop is honored to receive the endorsement of the NRLC and affirms his pro-life commitment, saying “I will continue to fight vigorously for this cause because I value the sanctity of all human life.”
