Sherrie Swensen, Salt Lake County Clerk, is urging citizens to return their by-mail ballots. “This is the first vote-by-mail election held for a Presidential Election and I strongly encourage voters to mail their ballots before the deadline of November 7th,” said Swensen.
“For those who prefer voting in person, early voting is available now at 16 satellite locations throughout Salt Lake County on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays through November 4th. (Voting hours vary by location.) For early voting locations and hours, check the website at: http://www.GOT-VOTE.org, or call 385-468-8683. Also, you may text 28683 (2Vote) to Salt Lake for a mobile connection to voter information.
In-office early voting is available every weekday through November 4th at the Salt Lake County Government Center, 2001 South State Street, (South Building) S1-120, (8:00 am – 5:00 pm). Because of high demand, the Clerk’s Office will also be open on Saturday, October 29th from 10:00 – 2:00 pm. All eligible Salt Lake County voters may vote at any one of the early voting locations in Salt Lake County. (NOTE: Identification is required to vote in person.)
