Ann Romney Says She Sees Only Son Tagg Getting Involved in Politics

Don’t expect that Mitt Romney’s 2012 election loss means the Romney’s are done with politics.

Ann Romney told the Boston Herald she only sees Tagg getting involved in politics sometime in the future, despite the persistent rumors that son Josh has his eye on the political arena in Utah.

“I can see only one son obviously ever being involved and that would be Tagg,” Romney, wife of 2012 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney told “Morning Meeting” hosts Hillary Chabot and Jaclyn Cashman. “He’s a great kid, very smart. Very sensitive, very tender. He’s a wonderful, wonderful husband and father to his six young kids and young baby twins.”

She added with a laugh: “I think his wife would have an opinion about this.”

“My advice to my sons has always been, don’t get involved in politics,” Romney said, laughing. “I think all of my boys right now are in a place where they have young children at home and they need to be at home and they need to be supporting their wives. There’s a time and a place for everything. So that’s always been my advice, ‘Not now, guys.’ Someday in the future, that would be fine.”
