Poll: Tea Party Favorability at All-Time Low

51% of Americans have an unfavorable view of the Tea Party, the first time that number has reached a majority.

The Gallup survey pegs the favorability rating of the Tea Party at just 30%, an all-time low since they started tracking the movement in 2010.

Not surprisingly, 58% of Republicans have a favorable view of the Tea Party while just 29% of independents and 10% of Democrats feel that way.

Only 22% of Americans consider themselves a supporter of the Tea Party, which is nearly equal to the number of people who say they oppose the group.
