Former Governor Mitt Romney to Address Business & Real Estate Markets at ‘Elevating Commercial Real Estate’ Dinner

Former Governor Mitt Romney will address national commercial real estate developers, owners, and investors, and local and regional business leaders at the “Elevating Commercial Real Estate” Dinner, to be held at The Canyons Resort in Park City on January 14, 2014.

The former Republican Party presidential nominee, Romney originally rose to prominence as founder of Bain Capital and was later elected Governor of Massachusetts. He also served as CEO of the organizing committee for the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City and was cited by TIME as one of the “100 Most Influential People in the World” (2012), praising his “work ethic, analytical mind, and devotion to family and country.” Romney will share his insights on the future of America, analyze the current political environment and business today, and share his insights on solutions to the national debt, private sector growth, education programs, and immigration reform.

“It’s a pivotal time in American history to have this important financial and political discussion given today’s economic climate, which directly impacts commercial real estate growth both in Utah and nationwide,” said Nate Boyer of The Boyer Company and a NAIOP Utah board member.

Attending from the Bay Area, Jory Shoell with Thiel Capital LLC said, “The Park City location for this networking event cannot be beat, giving out-of-state visitors varied opportunities to conduct business with one of the greatest backdrops available in the country.”

“Snell & Wilmer views its sponsorship of the dinner as a valuable firmwide opportunity,” said Brian Cheney, a partner at the Salt Lake office. “The event draws great interest for attorneys and clients in our local office, as well as in our Arizona, California, Colorado, and Nevada offices.”
