Sen. Todd Weiler says the 2014 Legislature will be 2013 redux.Â
He also says his proposal to make the Attorney General position appointed rather than elected faces an uphill battle during the upcoming session.
As for the Amendment 3 ruling, Weiler says that basically dooms a proposed statewide non-discrimination law that includes sexual orientation. He adds that Democratic Senator Jim Dabakis’ conduct in the wake of the Amendment 3 ruling has done a ton to help Republicans at the ballot box in 2014.
