“We like to sometimes coat it that there are no problems here,” said Davis in a Monday morning interview with Utah Policy. “We do have problems with our infrastructure in public and higher education.”
Davis says he expects a number of unexpected issues to pop up over the 45-day session.
“There always are. There are the message bills, the bills blaming someone else for the problems that we face in Utah. We have a great penchant up here to blame the federal government for our problems and we just don’t look at our problems and address them ourselves.”
