Now that the 2020 Utah primary elections are over, we speak with political consultant Danny Laub from Poolhouse to get some insight on the results.
Laub speaks with Managing Editor Bryan Schott about how Spencer Cox was able to squeak by Jon Huntsman in the GOP race for governor, why Burgess Owens dominated the GOP contest to face Democrat Ben McAdams in November, and Blake Moore’s rise from obscurity.
Laub has worked on several Utah campaigns, including Rep. John Curtis’ 2017 victory, Mitt Romney’s 2018 Senate race and Aimee Winder Newton’s gubernatorial run.
