Black History Month: An evening with Professor William Smith

On Tuesday, February 23, from 4-5 pm, you are invited to join Dr. William Smith as he discusses “The history of racial justice and racial battle fatigue.” Dr. Smith is a professor of Education Culture and Society at the University of Utah, will honor us with the opportunity to discuss the history of racial justice in our country and the impact that has on people of color. Our conversation will be hosted by Shawn Newell, Vice President of Industrial Supply, and Co-Chair of the Salt Lake Chamber’s Diversity Council and James Jackson III, President and Founder of the Utah Black Chamber.
