PoliticIt Scores: Reyes vs. Stormont

The PoliticIt scores for Utah’s Attorney General race seem to suggest it won’t be very close at all come November.
A political candidates’ digital presence and influence seems to correlate with how they’ll do in an election. That’s what the PoliticIt score measures. It takes into account a candidate’s reach on social media and other platforms like Wikipedia. The higher the score, the bigger the online presence.

As of this week, the PoliticIt scores say Republican Sean Reyes is far outpacing Democratic challenger Charles Stormont.

Contributing to Stormont’s low score is his weak presence with the media and his lack of presence on Wikipedia.

PoliticIt ranked 90 elections in 2012 with 87% accuracy.
