  1. G. Gordon Liddy, a former FBI agent, Army veteran and the mastermind behind the Watergate burglary, died Tuesday at age 90.
  2. Rep. Matt Gaetz is under investigation for an alleged sexual relationship with a minor which may have violated federal sex-trafficking laws. In 2017, he was the only member of Congress to vote against a law that gave the federal government more power and money to fight human trafficking.
  3. The two remaining Utah County commissioners want to move the entire budget office out from under the clerk/auditor’s office and put it under their control. They forgot to ask current clerk/auditor Amelia Powers Gardner what she thought of the plan.
