Half of Americans say it really doesn’t matter which party wins control of Congress this November because they say it won’t make much difference for the economy.
The NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Annenburg survey finds just 25% say the economy will bet better if Democrats control Congress and 23% say the same for Republicans.
That result is curious as nearly half of voters say they will base their vote on economic conditions and the job market. 20% say healthcare is the most important factor in deciding how they will vote, 15% say education, 7% say foreign policy and 6% say the deficit.
The survey also found that nearly half of Americans say the Affordable Care Act was a bad idea compared with just 38% who like Obamacare.
