The United Nations thinks this year we will see a record number of births across the globe, then that number will begin to fall.
Vox.com reports that the UN’s Population Division says the number of global births this year will hit 139 million. After that, the number will begin to fall. However, the population should continue to grow because births will continue to outnumber deaths.
The U.N. predicts the world’s population should reach 10.9 billion by the year 2100.
